As for the S12, I run it on my XC-W and will most likely put one on my Berg also. At least until we leave for CO again this coming July.

The new mid life crisis
Here is a photo of my new toy from Oz. ( I have now figured out why they put the motor at 70 deg. and that would be when you are wheelstanding, the motor would be the right way up, and as this thing is reasonably powerful, it don't take much effort to put the motor the right way up) - If that makes any sense.

New fe 390
About time I stop being a lurker here and chime in. Picked up My FE390 about a month ago and every time I ride it I am amazed at how easy and fast I can ride the tight stuff. I am riding with Michelin spikes now so I dont know if I should try and dial in the suspension or just wait wait until April when the snow is gone, confused because I can ride soo much faster in the tight stuff than on my other woods bike

Will need mine resprung in the new year also.
Any one using the Hyde bashplate on their bikes? ALSO does anyone have the sizes and types of tools required to do basic work on the bike when out in the bush. Will be making up a 2nd tool roll with Berg specific tools and keeping the other roll XCH specific. Thanks.

Fe570
The Good: First off, my wife is really cool! Second, I picked up my new FE570 Dual Sport from Genuine Dirt Racer Products! (shameless plug
The Bad: Had to sell my tricked out DRZ and my GasGas 280 Pro...... The Ugly: Since trail riding and racing my FE450 for the last two seasons, I am hooked on the 70 Degree 4 stroke! Sorry for the crappy cell phone photo.

Completed the first ride on mine today and have to give the little 390 a
for having such supple suspension and great handling. Point and shoot direction changes, never missed a beat.

Fitted the Safari tank to my FE450 between Xmas and New Years. Not quite straight forward, but that was more due to the fact I am running B&B Offroad radiator guards and case saver. Had to file some off the bottom of the louvres on the radiator guards and I added another layer of fuel hose as added protection when I ran the fuel line around the outside of the case saver.
Will be going for a big ride on Monday to try out the new rig. Will get back to you to let you know how it all works out.
