I guess a lot of people in the media (inc. Shane Warne it seems) are forgetting the game was drawn and not a resounding success for England. Sure, last couple days were pretty good for England but the wicket was crap and first 3 days weren't that great for us.

I do hope England don't fall into the trap of believing the hype...

I hope there's a more even contest between bat and bowl tomorrow.
Perhaps for the first time in my life,I want Australia to win.More often than not,the underdog gets my support and Australia to me are the underdogs at Adelaide.

Good day for England for sure, but dominate

I also read a piece where the journalist said this was one of the best Ashes days for England. Ever

Long long way to go in this test before we start throwing those plaudits around....

Indeed - I'm sure Mr Botham would have something to say about that, at least!

It was a good day for sure but as the last test showed us, you can have 3 good days (Australia first 3 days) and still struggle to win or even draw the test. Let's not get too over-confident - nothing the Aussie loves more than a an over-confident pom to kick the shit out of

Bat for another 40 overs or so, get a lead of 450ish and leave Australia a day and a half to chase

That should be the way to do it but Strauss is very conservative with his declarations. My guess is that he won't leave the Aussies with a target they might get. If they don't bowl us out, he'll bat to tea.
