Incase you fell off your KTM and slid under a rock for the last 3 years, there is a recession on.I could probably find
you 30 for sale........and as many KTM 690's!I'll be buying one on my return to Europe, nothing else competes with
them(not a Rotax fan,so BMW's are out too).

well you might call it a rock....but its been a home to me .....atleast you spelt KTM in capitals though ....there are a couple of 690sm's for sale but no enduro's good luck on your purchase....least theres plenty to choose from

oh and if anyone is asks...I don't have anything against the XTZ, Yamaha's or any other bike or manufacturer (except HD...goes without saying) If it makes you smile thats all that counts....teasing rednecks is fair and reasonable though.

Signed it. Why not?
I haven't had a Jap bike in a hundred years or so, though. I think it was a Transalp and you know how bad they were.

Nothin wrong with the Transalp. Very underestimated bike and still going strong as the 700.

If you've still got that Transalp POS in your garage - I'll buy it off you

the 660 is in North America!
http://www.yamaha-motor.com.mx/xt660tenere.html

w/ current exchange around $11.5K
bikes are more $ here because of higher import taxes (super tenere is $17.5 in mex. vrs $14.5K in the us)
i suspect the 660 would sell in the US for $9.5K or less
@ $8900 people would buy in the US.

COME ON YAMAHA US!!!

Well it figures. Canada should be next? Maybe the USA, odds better than the Lotto?

I gave up on the XT660z this summer and bought a semi-farkled DR650. Had to get all my ducks (bikes) in a row before my retirement this year.

Signed it! #449.

Hope it works. Not fair that they only have this bike in Europe and Mexico.
