So this blows....I'll be missing this meet up, and at the rate I'm going, the next meet up... my trip is probably getting extended to around the 17th of Dec.

So Sabrina, we might have to start planning our Canada trip we've been talking about. Seems with all the snow you've been getting we'll have plenty of time to plan motor cycle trips, not much time to execute them.

BTW....its Sunny and 75 Degrees here in Hong Kong/China where I'm at.

OK PNW Buttercup is planning MT & Canada. KR is in on the Canada thing.

There's also planning for Hells Canyon, Triple T, Desert 100 (need to do a party/fund raiser to go with that ). and that little jaunt down south that KR is up to his ears in.

I've been kicking around doing another campout/gathering I know where but haven't decided when, probably Aug.

I'll bet we can come up with more ideas before riding season gets here. I guess I better work over time while I can so the extra money can go toward my riding funds.

Hey Kootenai Rider, have fun where ever you are. Any chance you can go see Lu while you are there? I would love to see some more pictures of his shop.

We'll see what you have for vacation after your BAJA trip... I'm banking quite a bit of vacation to take 4-5 day weekends

And Montana will be a personal invite as the camp ground will be in my daddy's backyard... they're old and cannot take the wild partying anymore

Great location 72 miles from West Yellowstone and tons of off road areas!

Hey Sherry,

Where does Lu live? We're down in Shenzhen, Luo Ho District.

Oh, we're going to need to start the fund raiser and planning for the Vegas to Reno race too. www.bitd.com August 18, 19, 20 2011 Longest race in the US.

Oh the planning one can do.....

Apparently, Paul, you are quite bored.... your mind is running wild with all the ride possibilities -- make sure you pencil in all these rides, cuz I know how your weekends suddenly get absorbed by weddings and such....

Yeah, I start out 2011 right, I've got my first wedding to go to in late Feb. The first two weeks of Feb I'll be in Germany, so pretty much I can be written out of the picture for a month.

Hopefully I'll have a new bike pretty soon to take on all these rides.

Boredom during what little down time is setting in.... the farkling ideas are setting in for the new toy that isn't even in my garage yet. Thankfully the one I've pretty well made the deal on is already pretty well farkled. Just need to send $$, then go pick it up, which given my current situation is easier said than done.

Have fun at the meetup.... sorry I can't make it.

New bike?

Trials or dual sport... cuz it's hard to keep up with what bike you want at any given moment... did you sell your KLR?

Larry and Gary - - - Making us wait until tomorrow until we get to find out what that white bike is? OK fine but remember, pay back.

Kootenai Rider - - - Did you find an XR650L?

Lu lives in Beijing
His shop is called Motorway
798 art district at Da Shan Zi

I found a thread on a forum talking about it:
http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/showthread.php?2072-New-Shop-and-Garage-in-Beijing
The last post indicates the shop is difficult to find

Here's where he posted some of the pics of the shop:
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=495330&page=181

His website is:
http://www.527motor.com/ I couldn't read it. If I recall correct what he told me is the 527 looks like chinese characters basically saying "I love to ride".

I don't know how far Beijing is from Hong Kong but if you are able to go find a ladybug some where along the way to take him. He'll know it came from Bug Sister.

Lu is a kick it would be so cool if you got to meet him. I think you were in China when he was here or some other country.
