Lost Trails is a nice little gem, vey reasonable lift tickets and some very decent terrain. We hit it 3-4 winters ago on a couple of great powder days. BUT, DO NOT go to the Lost Trails Hot Springs 'resort'. You have been told. We'll leave it at that.

Maverick Mountain

Anyone here ever skied Maverick Mountain? Rode past the ski area few years back after dropping down from the Big Hole and fell in love with the Valley it's located in. Looks kind of like a big version of Anthony Lakes and a lot of fun. It's on my list of small home grown areas to ski.

Little Ski Hill in McCall

I just gotta say how much I love Little Ski Hill in McCall. Great fun and good for the kids. School buses take the kids there after school and they ride until you come get them. It's a playground! Last night we were laughing at the yard sale of skis all over the ground in front of the lodge... little kids running around without any hats or coats on... no parents! Love it!!! My 11 yo daughter's been doing it for 3 years now and she's a mad dog on skis now. She wants to compete in slopestyle event today. They bought an air bag this year so you can try whatever tricks you want. A good way to grow up skiing!

Best snow of the season in our area right now. 12" of smoke. More due in tonight. Today was a floating Trenchtown day. Sorry no pics... the frenzy was heavy and the snow was light.
I took tomorrow off... powder clause. I have an appointment in the white room.
I'm such a powder junkie... Got any spare change?

Strange winter here in Central Oregon but last friday was super fun for about 4 hours - then it got too warm.

From what I hear, Northern Washington is where it's at this year!

Dream come true - east wind fired up this morning about 4 :am and blew snow up and out of the bowl and like a drifting pow dune down into NWE - meant to be back in shop before noon but . . . tracks were filling in each run but it was sunny

Hey look - there's one guy on the lift ahead!

Check the nature snow machine blowing
