Looks like a really sucky day.

I'm NOT getting those Rotary Night $10 tickets today guys.
Maybe Monday, if the report looks better.

Hard to pay $69 to ride a chair in the rain, huh?

Nice placements. Did lots of athletes compete?

42 guys in slope and 25 in pipe. Vail, Breckenridge, Sun Valley & Jackson Hole teams + one Tumalo hillbilly skier from Bachelor.

No kidding, his heal pieces were coming off his skis. The last 2 screws were backed out and stripped. Chewed some gum - jammed it in the hole - mashed and turned the last 2 screws in and let the skis sit for about 5 minutes - IN THE RAIN - and prayed they'd hold. Which they did.

Sure, It's pretty much ready:

(I really should probably spend tomorrow continuing to work on this... Class starts this week, so I need to spend as much time in the garage as possible while I can.)

If anyone was wondering whats happening to all of our snow, I saw some of it going past Tucker Bridge below our orchard today! And if you look in the lower left of this mess it was transporting a few logs also...

WOW.
Middle Fork HR is more than 1/2 mile from my house.
It sounds like a freight train.

I didn't venture out to look at it, though.
I played in the Garage and beat my Jesse Luggage back into submission after three years of falling on them, and ground down the latches, so they will hold tighter for next year's riding.

And then I put a drink in my hand, and spent the next two hours before dark just staring at them, dreaming of summer

It's actually looking OK up there right now, been below freezing since about 7am, and it's getting colder. No fresh snow, but groomies should be OK.

Well? let's go have fun, WB.....

EDIT: just checked.....WooHoo, 1/2" NEW SNOW !!
