No. It's been too long since it's been frozen up there.
But there might be a lake under that 1/2" of new snow!

Bring wide skis !!

Well, it is noon, and I haven't heard from the other two, so I guess we're out?

I didn't see your post Mr. Jam; was in the garage all morning.

Well, since we waffled I thought we weren't going. So now I'm finding it hard to get motivated to spend 4 hours in the car. It's still warm and the sun is peeking through. I'm going for a motorcycle ride. Sorry y'all.

So I am planning on hitting it this Saturday so if anyone is interested, please let me know. Keep in mind that both Costco and REI have decent deals on lift tickets. Hope to hear from someone...

I'm out this weekend Ken. I'm waiting for some decent snow to pile up this last weekend's ice sheet. Hope it's good!

If and when they open the upper part of Heather Canyon it could be nice in spots. They only had it open just above the new howitzer building and it was solid ice or about 6" of nice wind transport. When you get to the bottom it was about 6" of slop! But it was nice to just get out on the mountain.

I worked on the house last weekend instead of playing in the snow like a true ADVer should have been .

It was a beautiful weekend, and I got some siding work done on the "view windows" side, out in the Parkdale Sunshine.
I've been putting off that difficult start for a while now,
and last weekend I got all the fussy beginning cuts done to speed up the rest of that project.

Thanks! We're stoked that he's not the teenager that I was!

Our boy is on the Mt Bachelor freeride team and they let the fellows up at 8 AM for the video sessions occasionally. Pete Alport is the shooter and he also works for Bachelor as well as other major filming projects - http://www.poorboyz.com/about/crew/pete-alport

Funny thing is, there was only about 3" of new on top of boiler plate. They make it look easy though eh?
