Picked her up thursday after work. Rode 100mi on Thur and Friday. Couldn't ride Saturday . I was determined to get through the 500 mi break in and to the 600mi sevice today. Left the house this morning with 190 miles on the clock and came home with 585. Close enough.

It was a great excuse to ride Sonora and Ebbits pass with a little stop a Topaz lake (NV). No time for lots of pics, but here's one on my favorite section of Sonora pass.

What a fun ride!
Twin to my bike, Dave. Good luck and good riding. Mine has been perfect in all respects. Be sure to pull the secondaries for a better ride w/no cost to you at all.

Hello, V-Strom user from France, like this forum, thought I'd post a few pics on my own... Not very dirty tracks for now, but still. Anyway, here it comes :

Here are some photos from along the Dempster Highway.

Sorry about the rotated picture; it is the right way in the Smugmug file.

On a dirt road a bit west of Flaming Gorge in Northeastern Utah...this is my first post and I'm a new (about 3000 miles) VStrom owner, and loving it so far!

Wasn't sure of the best place to post this....but it is a Strom wheel.

Little guy cracks me up. I forgot this is the time of year these guys get horny. Not sure if it's attacking my ride or just getin friendly. The bastard was sure pissed at me though, I swear he came runnin at me....made me back up a couple a feet. Woulda been bad karma to hurt it though.....lots of these out and about right now.....and sometimes I sleep on the ground.

While I'm at it, here's a couple of random shots of forgotten roads I was on today.

See what I've been up to! Ongoing Ride Report
