My Pelican cases (ABS plastic) are totally waterproof, impact proof, and you can park your truck on top of one and wonder why it doesn't even dent. Look at Roger's Caribou thread / site, he's got a photo of his truck in just such a scenario.

I've known photographer friends who have accidently dropped Pelican cases of gear from helicopters without damage to the contents & only minor damage to the cases, which didn't open on impact, either.
i bet he meant Carribou.

Inspired by WarHammer's OD strom, I knew I wanted to do the same to mine. Here is the thread... http://www.vstrom.info/Smf/index.php/topic,13230.0.html

Just picked this up about a month ago

I have a couple projects right off the bat I am going to tackle, including the high fender mount using the super moto fender, Givi bars (put on last night), and a bicycle rack/basket for the rear. More pics to come.

I wrote Caribou, which is what I meant. One "r".

As in Roger Pioszak's Caribou Luggage Systems

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showp...18&postcount=1

Anyhow, he did a great job with these. I'm very pleased with the racks, their fit & construction, and the Pelican cases themselves. Everything works as it should and it totally waterproof, well worth the money, says I.
