The water crossings were pretty wild though! Great job!
by the way. the most robust crash bars and skid plate for these bikes bar none are the ALTrider stuff. you may never need the heavy duty bash plate, and it IS a bash plate, but i highly recommend the crash bars at least. some other lighter gauge less expensive stone guards (which is all you need for fire trails and gravel) can attach to the bars.

We started in Ft Walton Beach, Florida and my 3 buds got an early start up the west side of Alabama. I followed later at 8 pm through the tornados and got to Tuscaloosa at 320 am. Spent the following day on SR25 over to Talladega National Forest and Mt Cheaha. Next day headed south on 49 through Tuskegee and Troy. Most of the twisties were in the Mt Cheaha area, but fun curves from there south until Florala. then it got back to straight. flat Florida

Shouldn't that be "three" fav things?

Givi Crash Bar????

Hello

Is anyone able to give me an opinion on Givi Crash bars????
I have a DL650A and am about to invest in crash bars.
I would ultimately prefer AltRider but are a little expensive in OZ, so am leaning toward the Givi's.

I would be interested to hear what experiences those who have them can tell me...

Cheers

Mike
