Just finished installing some more farkles on the Wee. Voltmeter/thermometer/lap timer, heated handgrips (almost done), Motech center stand, cig plug, bark busters and MSR handguards, Motosport tank bag, license plate Pelican box, bar end mirrors, bungee nets in the panniers, and did some cutting/grinding on my home made rack. Nothing special yet, but 2 more months and she'll be ready for my 6 week trip I love this bike more and more every time I ride it!

Amigo protect that multi function gadget!! it is NOT water proof, not even splash proof!!! it will go out if you wash the bike and then it will return on, and eventually you will ruin it!!! Ask we how I know! Put some plastic on top and will be more water resistant.

Love does mirrors!! (plus bike)

Hey dhillr, what size are those German decals - large or XL? Or maybe you don't know because the PO put them on?

The shop owner I bought it from (the only one I trust with my bikes) said it's SUPPOSED to be waterproof. I washed my bike today and while the gauge didn't see any direct spray, it definitely got wet.

It is positioned however so that it's under the windscreen unless the wind's blowing from behind, so at least when it's raining it shouldn't get too wet

I guess we'll see :)

As far as the mirrors, I put bar ends on ALL of my bikes, and these are the nicest I've used. $60 shipped on eBay, not a bad deal

I put them on and they are XL.

Took awhile to get them but they are great quality.

They look great, and I have the same bike. I see you cut the "strom" part off the decal. I will be doing the same as soon as order up a set of these.

Tires??

Can anyone suggest what Dual Sport tires are best suited for the Wee's? I would be doing around 70% road 30% off road or maybe even 60/40 or 50/50 (I'd love to do as much off road as poss). I think the Mefo dual-sport, Super Explorer tires (Droooool) look damn sexy but don't appear to fit
Any worthy challengers???

Mike

The Shinko 705 Series Dual Sport Tires look good too.

http://www.dualsportplus.com/tires.html

The Continental TKC 80's look pretty hard core, i don't think i'd be getting into the dirt enough to warrant them.

Mmmmm choices!!
The more I read the more confused i get!!
Luckily I still have plenty of tread and therefore time to get it right!!
