Yours just happens to look good. (At least from a distance. )
It's not like I was cutting on a $15,000 KTM or BMW. Heck, the way I looked at it was, how much could I possibly screw up a $200 Zuki screen (OEM replacement cost, I looked it up before I took the jigsaw to it). I did take my time to lay out the template though.

Just pulled the trigger and bought that white 2012 Wee you see at the top of this page... Got spousal approval -- partly thanks to the comfort of the passenger seat and position and partly because it felt smooth and natural on our test ride. Will take delivery within a couple of weeks after they add the multitude of accessories that I haggled to get in with the purchase!

I look forward to sharing pictures of the back-roads of southern France in the near future. Lot's of great riding to be had around here!

I almost was convinced that choosing a Tiger 800 would be cool, but after trying the 2012 V-strom again I feel that the Suzuki is simply a bike that fits my style and desires better. It feels more "me", whatever that means. Now I will sell the Varadero 125 (best little bike ever!!) and order the Strom on Friday or Saturday.
Thats almost got to the point where its not so ugly that I wouldn't buy one

Can you make that a positive statement? I am trying to understand.

I also had to do a double-take on it! The bottom line is that bike *will* look great with an ADV sticker on it... Who knows where we get one of those babies?

P.S. I'm editing this post just to say "duh"... the stickers are pretty easy to locate with a basic search. :)

My recent trek through Colorado, taken along US 550 between Durango and Montrose. Unbelievable, simply unbelievable. Can't wait to go back.

The bike looks like it's ready for a safari or something!

Posted this on the offroad thread, but thought it would be nice to share here also.

Did a loop over Mt. Emily, last Sunday.
