Yup, the K60 Scouts to be more precise. I won't lie, I partially bought them because of the tread design

Yup, auxiliary tail/brake/turn signal bar. It comes in 2 sizes, I went for the large
http://www.admorelighting.com/index.....php&subpage=5

I've had an incident last year where a driver didn't see me come to a stop at a red light and ran over my foot. I guess it's better than plowing into me, but still, too close for comfort.

The turn signals are animated like those frou-frou mustang signals, and the brake lights modulate upon the first use.

Here's my '08.

We FINALLY had a couple of really nice days late last week and I brought the bike out for the first time this season. I was anxious to go for a ride because over the winter I changed out the handle bars, added Rox risers, a Givi windshield, Extenda Fenda, and a lower engine cowl.

The engine cowl is made by a UK company called Power Bronze. I get the impression these things aren't very popular here in the US but I like the look of them. I added some expanded aluminum rain gutter screen to the openings.

I was never crazy about the silver exhaust shroud on an otherwise black bike. I was going to paint it over the winter when I came across a thread on changing a bike's color using adhesive vinyl sheets. Turns out there's a ton of this stuff available on eBay. Most sellers will send samples for the cost of postage, so I ordered faux carbon fiber samples from several sellers and decided the 3M Scotchprint was the best quality. A single sheet 1'x2' cost all of $10, shipped to my mail box. I used a heat gun to get it to shape and mold to every contour on the shroud (a good hairdryer would probably work just as well). I'm really pleased with the results (minus the fly in the photo, who barged into the shot).

Then when I came home from work yesterday, THESE were waiting for me! I plan on eeking out another 1k out of the stock tires before mounting up these beauties.

Lastly, I have some of those cool German-style decals to replace the stock graphics but I haven't mustered the courage to do it yet.

Looks great.

Anybody ever wrap the whole bike instead of repainting? I'd think it could be a really good option for a color change without ruining the factory paint. Not to mention helping resale value if you want to do something crazy like zebra stripes - new owner could just peel it off to go back stock.

I'd really love to have a white strom....

EDIT: google searched and got an answer! imagine that! http://www.stromtrooper.com/general-...-3m-vinyl.html

Yep, that's the same thread I found. It gave me the idea to try it on the exhaust shroud first. If I ever lay my bike down and scrape up the plastics, I'm just going to cover them with more of the same thing I put on the exhaust.

Nice bike Dave.
Thanks. Love the shark mouth graphics on your bike. Wish those were still available but I don't think Warhammer's making them any more.

Thank you. The previous owners did the shark graphics, and I am glad. They do look sweet. In looking on the cypress graphics web site I noticed that my bike was in their gallery; before I owned it. I considered painting the bike, but hate to give up the shark. Maybe if I ever scratch the fairings too bad I will.

I also really like the german style dl650 on the side.
