I took a long lunch today and made a run to one of the local flood control dams. The Vstrom proved again to be the perfect bike. It ran up and down the mountain twisties with pleasure and then quickly ate up the dirt road down to the lake. Beautiful bike.

Thanks! The V has proven to be the most allround bike I've owned so far. And with a few modifications, it's actually starting to look good too

Mitas e-10 Dakar front and Mitas e-07 Dakar rear. I am very happy with them so far. Especially, the e-07. There doesn't seem to be another tire quite like it. Wears well and has extremely good traction.

The Shenandoah Valley of Virginia is an absolutely AWESOME place to own a Wee. What a beautiful machine.

Yesterday I took on a challenge I made up. Cross 5 countries in 1 day.
So, I made up a route in mapsource and got to riding!

First stop, the "drielandenpunt". A junction of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

Then, some riding in Germany...

Crossed Belgium and Luxembourg

Through France

And back to the Netherlands...

Did about 870km (540miles) in 11 hours, with most of it twisties

Thanks for sharing your ride. Great pictures. Would love to do that as a fly and ride someday!
