Why? With so many other good bikes available, what brings you BACK?

I am eagerly awaiting his answer. I'm trying to justify a purchase.

I'm sorry. What was your question? ". . . justify a purchase."?

well, iv been thru 11 bikes in the past 6 years. iv got room in my garage for 3, so i can only have 3 at the time. im not rich by any means . all these bikes have been within my cheap budget. 3 have been stroms. and 3 have been burgman 650's. the others were cruisers, standards and sport bikes.

i come back the the strom because it fits my needs best! im 6'2'' 175lbs. so it fits like a glove. its inexpensive to buy and maintain. iv ridden most states east of MS river. long rides is what i like, and the strom 650 does that perfectly.

iv still got a burgman 650 and a drz400s(its for sale). hope to get a small 200cc dual sport for trails when i sell the drz.

Do you have a smaller 200cc trail bike in mind? All the new 200-250 bikes are about the same size. My Dad's KLX250 is pretty much the same size as my DRZ400, except mine has the bigger motor. Unless there is something specific that the 200 bike can offer better than the 400, I'd stick with the 400. I do know that some of the older 250 are lower to the ground, which is nice. I'm kind of in that same boat. Keeping an eye out for a good 200-250 ish size dual sport for my girlfriend. She need something that isn't as intimidating as the bigger bikes. Nothing to do with motor size, has everything to do with the physical size of the bike.

Yup. New VStrom concept. I have some concerns, but this is not the place for that discussion. It sure makes a pretty picture though.
