Using the Chrome now. Just your computer. Sorry.

I am contemplating a color swap on my '06. I've had it a few years now and a buddy at work just bought a red '06 just like mine. So I'm pondering going with a hi-viz yellow or plain white. I hate to give up my shark graphics, but I can't sit still long. I need a change. Anybody have pictures of a sexy color or custom job? BTW - the green looks nice.

I like white too. You might consider a vinyl wrap. I saw a write up on it and it didn't look too hard.

Maybe. My wife's cousin has a shop that does vinyl for cars. He did a job on my buddy's GS that looks pretty good. They did is as a trial and figured they could always pull it back off if it didn't look good. It's been on a couple years now and still looks good. I talked to him once, but then decided to stick with the shark a while longer.

That's what i did on the green bike above. Huge pain. The more contour a panel has, the harder/more frustrating it will be.

Yeah, definitely would take some patience. I think the pre 2012 models could be a little easier, but more to cover.

This is the write up I saw. Said it took 14 hours.

You're not alone. There's a thread about it.

Mine was easily that much time too. But yes, the flatter panels would be a breeze.

This is probably due to running an Adblocker extension. Disable and refresh the page and see if that does it.

Talking about vinyl wrapping, I found this at V-Strom Club (Spanish).
I think the result is superb!
