I don't think they can find a cure either. Of course why look for a cure for a disease that's so fun

Location is the Hawks Nest. Route 97 just north of Port Jervis New York. River is the Delaware and opposite shore is Pennsylvania. A few hours ride from Hunter.

Fork Help and/or Advice, Please.

I realize this is a PICTURE thread, but can someone point me in the right direction? A more technical Wee thread, perhaps?

I have purchased on '06 Wee that is low miles and mechanically quite sound. I have other bikes, but am declaring this one to be the one that I do all the work on - a learning experience. I need to replace the forks (if not both, certainly the right).

I need to find a reliable source for used parts and am asking for suggestions.

If I buy used, should I consider sending them to someone to be upgraded/rebuilt?

Would it make sense for me to try to purchase just a right and then have it and my original left reworked?

Next, I'll be shopping for a shop manual (and probably soliciting advice) and then diving in.

I'll appreciate any input.

Www.stromtroopers.com. I think.. Also VSRI.net. Both are awesome for anything Vee or Wee.

Just got back from a weekend on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Foggy and wet, but still a good time with friends.

Here's the beauty. These things are awesome.

Thanks. I figured it out (from the sign in the pic) after I asked. It looks curiously like a section of road near where I mentioned.

Ironbutt

Did a 2500 mile trip last week, from my home in Copenhagen to "Le Camping Moto" between Lyon and Marseilles.
The trip down there took about 20 hours and was done as an ironbutt, and the Strom performed like a champ, including the rest of the trip. Didnīt use a drop of oil.
The weather in France was a bit rough, with lots of rain, so we didnīt get to drive as much as we had hoped for, but good thing they got a splendid bar then
I can only recommend people stopping by that place.
A couple of pictures(not from the camping site)

A dirty front after 4200 km.
