Dude!

You totally rock! Exploring the outer limits of the strom. I just got a transalp and everyone complains about what a pig they are off road; it all comes down to the size of your kahunas. lost one of mine to testicular cancer recently but the one they left is a biggin' and I intend to prove it on that transalp!
Helmets off to you my V-twin-friend

It's taking me days to go thru all the pics in this thread. Really makes me want a wee! I probably should have got a wee instead of a KLR a couple years ago, I might still have it then

The KLR is a great bike!

I went from a DR650.....bought the Vstrom for more touring & gravel roads and bridged the gap for dirt by picking up a KTM 200 EXC.

I was blown away at how smooth the V was on the highway.

The smoothness is what I like, that KTM should be just right,I'm gonna sell the KLR and find a smaller plated bike for going deeper into the sticks, the Strom is really a great next step bike for me.

I didn't believe it at first, but a 20,000 mile V is just getting started. Daily I see V's with over 60-70k miles. Save money and pick up a fully set up bike for under $4,000. If you look....they're out there for $3500.

I enjoy flaunting what I paid for my bike to the guys that bought new.

Your right there are many good deals out there,I never buy new,I just did get a new one,the little guy on my shoulder razzes me all the time for buying a new bike, but gosh it's nice,I think even a high mileage DL be it a 650 or 1000 is still got many miles left on it,buy used ride the hell out of it,I'm gonna abuse my new 1 and try not to worry about it,got my skid plate yesterday gonna mount it today and get some dirt on the bike.

This well used pair of pegs was finally retired the other month after one broke off when I had a pretty good get off on a local favorite road.

I continue to love the wee.

Had a sit on the new one yesterday. It seems nice, but it's too expensive I think.
