Had a couple of awesome days in Vancouver here. A dusting a snow on the local mountains provide these scenic pics.

I like how much more rugged and trail worthy it looks.
Look at the tube type spoked wheels, is that a 21" front?
Look at the exhaust and bash plate, all homemade but functional.
Excellent find! Now that's what I call a V-Strom.

SWEET..... Looks like a 21" front wheel... I'd either like that or for Perelli to make an a Scorpion A/T that fits the strom....

The hubs, discs and rims there say "Africa Twin" to me. Could well be a borrow job. Looks decent for a strom, not so sure about the rusty weld on box under the tank and the odd exhaust system. Bit of sticker overkill too.

Our two new VStroms, fresh out of the crates from Ohio. Both bikes with zero miles on the odometer. Just prior to our first ride this morning.

I think the black one looks faster.

Congrats. I have a black one too. The blues, yellows and whatnot will confirm that black is fastest.

Without a doubt the Black is not only Faster, it is invisible to radar!!!!
I saw a black, and a blue, both demonstratable at the local dealer today [the black is for sale, used, if anyone is interested] and I could tell the Blue was intimidated.... it tucked its tail and rolled over in the presence of the Black Terror !
