Near the Lily Lake Visitor's Center, on Hwy 7, about 10 miles south of Estes Park, CO. That is Long's Peak: 14255 feet. Tina and I ride that road, which locals call the "peak to peak," a few times a month on our way to breakfast in Nederland.

Here's another pic from the same ride... We like this peak, which looks to us like a shark's tooth. Anybody know the name of it?

We're always looking to hook up with other riders. Send me an e.

That's Sawtooth Mountain.

Check it out here:

I'm up there alot and would get a kick out of riding with some fellow Strommers.
Count me in!

These are some great pics, guys. I've been wondering what the limits of the V-Strom are. It looks like they'll do just about anything that is asked. I'll add some pics when I get somewhere more interesting.

Here are a few shots from a late April '05 gathering of V-Stroms at Ironhorse Motorcycle Lodge in Stecoah, North Carolina. 20+ Stroms showed up for the week-end.

Did that really happen?

I rode from the South Entrance to the East Entrance but the Northern Scenic drive is shuttle bus only. The ride was awesome and I should've stayed in the area for a couple days rather than head east where there wasn't as much to see. Next time I'm staying in South West and Northern Utah.
