Coyotetrips - Aluminum Panniers and Top Boxes, powder coated

Hi together,

My name is Stefan and I produce and sell powder coated aluminum panniers and top boxes near Portland, Oregon. All boxes are usually in stock and I ship them within the US as well as worldwide, and local pickups are welcome.

I'm a one man shop and this is not my main job, in real life I'm a mechanical engineer. So, if you want to pick up a box it has to be either after 6:30pm or on the weekend.

I don't make racks, but my boxes work on nearly all racks like Touratech, Wolfman and Happy Trail. With an adapter you can as well use Givi racks and even keep the quick connect.

Below I'll post some photos and descriptions of my products, but you can also have a look at my website for more photos and details: http://www.coyotetrips.com

On some of the photos the powder coating looks blue(ish) or dark grey, but that's NOT how they are, I need to get a new camera and take new photos! The actual color of the powder coating is a light grey. The best photos for color reference are the ones with the KLR.

- 40 liter pannier, 460 x 230 x 380 mm (18" x 9" x 15")
- 33 liter pannier, 460 x 190 x 380 mm (18" x 7.5" x 15")
- 36 liter top box, 400 x 300 x 300 mm (16" x 12" x 12")
- 1.6 mm (1/16") thick aluminum (Zega panniers are 1.5mm), completely welded, not only glued or riveted
- material doubled around bottom and around top for additional strength
- lid with four loops to fasten additional luggage
- two toggle latches, which can be locked with a small padlock each (sold separately for $4 each, keyed alike)
- 3M closed cell foam gasket in the lid makes the aluminum box completely waterproof
- the gasket being in the lid protects it from being damage while loading/unloading the boxes
- all attachment parts (loops, latches, and screws) are made of stainless steel
- light weight, only 3.5 kg (8 lbs.) for the 40 liter pannier and 3 kg (7 lbs.) for the 33 liter pannier and the top box

I no longer offer plain aluminum finished boxes as it is near impossible to get scratch free material and then keep it so through all the production steps.
At this point I can't offer powder coating in other colors. I might offer black in the future, but for now it's all grey.

Thanks for reading through this looong post, or at least looking at the pictures

And please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have, related to my boxes or not.

Cheers,
Stefan
