Hi Matteo,

Hate to bother you with this again, but any chance you could give some clarification with regards to certification of the XPD boots?

The XP-7 boots seem to have errors in their specs. For instance, EN3886 they mention is a welding standard...

Would you be able to find out what they were actually certified to, or forward this question to someone who can?

EDIT: The tag on the boots themselves and the mention of EN13595 are correct.

XPD boots XP7 are CE certified as per law EN13595, at level 2. This is what you also have on the certification label inside the boots.

The boots can also achieve different standards of certification (even for welding).
The important aspect is not to misinform consumer: in this case XP7 boots have achieved a high level of certification for motorcycle boots, that's what gives it an additional value.

Hope everything is clear, please come back with more questions whenever you have doubts, we're glad to help consumers to understand better these norms, we know they're too difficult to comprehend, especially for a non-european consumer.

I sent him a pic of the tags inside the boots; I think it's all straight now. They're clearly (and properly) labeled as Level-2 certified boots.

The "EN3886" part must be a typo, but everything else makes total sense now.

May I ask why the XP7 WRS boot was discontinued in the US? I realize I could order it overseas and have it sent, but that would cost $400+.

There're still few pieces of XP7 WRS around Europe, but you can't find good deals cause XPD policy is straight in this.

Hi Matteo,

I'm just about ready to order a Marathon suit. I've checked your sizing chart and there is two large (L) sizes that I'm in between (Italian sizes 48 and 50), so I could do with some advice please. Also there is only one (L) size when ordering suit.... is this 48 or 50?

I'm 177 cm high and chest measures 94cm. I weigh 77kg.

Is there any discount if I were to order an Back Warr Evo back protector with the suit?

I have broken one of the groin straps off my Netwin can these be purchased seperatley?

and finaly which method of delivery do you recomend to Ireland?

your size is a L.
Standard delivery to Ireland takes 2 to 3 days, so this will be good I believe.

The suit was available in Large but when I try to purchase through the shop its saying it is not available in that size. I was ordering the Black/Orange 087 colour. I'm not sure if the sale concluded or not as I had processed the credit card details..... please advise

Since I'm having trouble finding the XP7 WRS boots anywhere, could you tell me what the differences are between the XP7 and the XP5? I liked the CE Level 2 rating of the XP7 boots and as far as I can tell, the XP5 boots do not have this rating.

Slightly off Spidi topic but does anyone else make a CE Level 2 rated boot?

XP7 WRS and XP5 WRS are very similar, but XP5 WRS has been just released, that's why certification is still pending; basically, PU plastic parts are same and construction is almost same. Main difference is the double-open entrance in XP7 WRS.
