looking to get the right fit for the Fit Tex: I am 33" inside leg and 34" waist. Am I right in saying they will breath as well or better than the NL5? Is the Tenax Tactel more abrasion resistant than the Clarino Microfibre? Thanks.

we don't offer as optional. Don't forget you can hold jacket to pants through groin straps. Thanks again for your interest Matteo De Vito Spidi Marketing Dept Vicenza - Italy

Just to check, since I don't see anything that looks obvious-does the Ergo 365 Pro jacket have these straps? I am still learning all the features as there are quite a few-if you have pictures of what I should be looking for, that would be a big help.

Hi Matteo,
I was wondering if any of the Spidi gear comes in 'talls' (specifically jackets). I'm tall and skinny (2m tall, 106cm chest, 86 cm waist and currently about 86kg) with long arms. Standard sizes fit ... poorly, in general, and most US manufacturers jackets are insanely baggy on me. Problem is many of the well fitting jackets are brutally short in the arm. Was wondering if Spidi has any options? |

my mistake! I was thinking about Marathon jacket. With Ergo, of course you can zip to any Spidi textile pants. Thanks again for your interest Matteo De Vito Spidi Marketing Dept Vicenza - Italy

Jacket for slim or fat riders
Quote:
yes Spidi produces jackets for tall people (slim types) or fat people (robust types). I suggest you Ergo 05 Slim, which is same as Ergo 05, but tighter. Here you go with a specific size chart for slim people: ![]() I suggest a XXL for you. Just for information, here's version for fat people (robust): http://www.spidi.com/eu/eu_en/textil...05-robust.html Thanks again for your interest Matteo De Vito Spidi Marketing Dept Vicenza - Italy

Thanks for the reply; just checking a few things.
The jacket liner is waterproof, the shell is 'water-resistant'? (Teflon coated cordura?) And the Ergo 05 is the only one that is in slim sizes? (Not that I'm complaining; I like Slim more than Tall anyway. :) ) |

Slim fit jackets and pants
Quote:
Hi expatbrit external is laminated Cordura with a medium level of water repellence (it's not a 3-layers fabric as in Ergo 365 Pro). It's the only one in slim fit. As per pants, I would suggest Hurricane in LONG fit; you can zip them together (XXL will be good). They're 10 centimeters (39in) longer than normals. ![]() Thanks again for your interest Matteo De Vito Spidi Marketing Dept Vicenza - Italy

Summerfit or NL5
Quote:
Yes with that safety equipment, they're similar, but within the 2, I suggest NL5: they're a bit more technical, for example they feature lower leg adjustment. Thanks again for your interest Matteo De Vito Spidi Marketing Dept Vicenza - Italy

Kind of a Big Deal
|
I was recently in Paris and my wife tried on a Spidi Dueruote and loved it. On returning to the states I've tried to find anyone with one in stock.
Is this an old model? Does it have a different name in the US? Any info on the jacket and on a well stocked distributor in the US would be appreciated. Also, if spidi had other women's jackets with the same 2 layer system I'd be interested in those as well! Andy
