Picked up a couple new Gas Gas Econos in SoCal this weekend for myself and a buddy. We're in Northern Nevada (Sparks and Fallon) - is PITS the only trials club nearby? I've heard rumor of one in Carson City, but can't find anything on the internet.

Great pic! Good to see your back on the bike. Always thought that tunnel was cool too. :-)

great bike!

Nope. Checked the links, though, and doesn't seem there is one.

I may try and catch - or at least go watch - the last PITS event in a couple weeks.

Go ahead and take the bikes and give it a try, it's unbelieveably addictive!

A good friend will take you trail riding, an ADV friend will double back and say, "how did you get down there?"

Pulled the Ohlins rear shock off my son`s Raga. Replaced it with a Sachs while I rebuild it. Had just a minor seep and the top bearing needs replaced.

Are you sure that Ohlins is not going to wind up on a certain Fantic??

Rode mine today as well. Had a blast. Now I am tired and just want to fall asleep. I am not going to be that productive at work tomorrow.

If that is the Gasser 50/80 I would say go for it. The seat height is plenty low and the total weight is very low. The engine is under powered and very easy to start and maintain. Really not much difference to the small wheel. The bigger wheels roll over obstacles better and take real trials tires. Besides your boy will grow fast.

Rode the 13 GG factory edition on Sunday. What a smooth bike - I really like what they did with the motor. Not sure if its just the ignition changes or port timing or all of the above, but the bike is all but impossible to stall. Was riding in 3rd and 4th gear, (stock, tall gearing) really trying to get the motor to cough and studder, and it was just smooth as silk. Would just effortlessly pull and pull at super low rpm. Note to self: stop riding new bikes you cant afford.

Sorry about that! After I posted the question. I talked to a few local trials friends, who basically said the same thing lineaway. Just thought I wouldn't clog up a thread...if I already got the answer.

Thank you for our response!!!
