We just rode the Scorpa and Sherco around in the yard; picked up four pallets this week and ratchet-strapped them together. Trials bikes make me forget about street riding and could care less about the weather! Was too busy having fun to take pics: next time! NVTS

Here in the interior of BC we get REAL winter weather, not like the coast....

Well the snow melted and so did the little black box[$150.00] thing that converts AC to DC to run the fan. And as an added bonus it fried the new fan[another $150.00]. Going to talk to SPS tomorrow and see what they think. Then I'm going to unload this $$ ah GG. Four rides at $75.00 each, a bit much.

why not just pick up a cheap Regulator / Rectifier from TrailTech for $44 and let it power the fan? Or does the black box do more than that?

Thanks Nanotech9, I was wondering if some one else made a different part. As far as I know all it does is change ac to dc. I will get ahold of them. I have one of there light switches for turning the late fan on.

Wha, doesn't everyone ride their rickety 36-year old mini Trials bike downtown on a Saturday night??

What I did...

Well, after I finished the KTM I decided to mount a new 803 on the Beta. I looked all over that tire for the arrow then figured screw it, it doesn't matter. Hopefully it holds air better than the old Vee that it replaced. Next up is the clutch mod and finally the carb fix. BTW, trials tires aren't that tough to work with. I had read that they can be a real bugger but this one went pretty well, hooray for me!!

Since Gordy and NMTrailboss are currently watching some big show on TV that has something to do with "feet ball" (or something like that), I figured I would post something more important. Gordy and NMTrailboss getting schooled by 2-time National Champion Lane Leavitt -

"Look Lane, Gordy can't turn!", NMTB tattles -

"Ah, geez, I'll show you how to do it. Again" -

All kidding aside, Lane was very gracious and spent several hours with Gordy and NMTB showing them some cool techniques. Great day!

That's 3 time National Champion...1972, 1973 & 1974.

'Twas an awesome afternoon for sure!

Thanks for posting up the pics!

Yup, thanks Brewtus!

We spent over 2 hours in that practice section going over fundamentals, basics and everything else that was kicking our asses! It was great!!

We spent yesterday (before the football game) finishing up the lower sections for next Sunday.

Should be a good time.
