The gang is in Taos at day one today. I don't think I can make it tomorrow either.

I can't wait to hear if Brewtus got 1st or got annihilated and ended up ~~last~~ second in the twin shock/vintage/POS class.....whatever they call it......

Bob and Brewtus were having fun for sure. No real rain, very cool with mountain breezes, 10,300 feet and up, Taos is killing it. Your missed Uncle Gordy. Hope the concert was worth it.

I'm nursing a pulled shoulder............and did a bunch of stuff for my mom all day. The concert was just part of my incredible "burn the candle at bith ends" schedule.

Rusty Rusty. Sunday things were better but small issues with balance, clutch, throttle, breaking, otherwise I was awesome.

It was great to be on the loop in Taos. Been 11 months since I have ridden.

Bah, all of that stuff isn't important just so you kept your feet up!

Clark and I rode some yesterday and had a great practice, but it dang sure wasn't Taos.

Later I worked on the bike. Installed new front wheel bearings, a new front tire, shark fin, changed the oil in the forks and tranny.
Wait a minute Gordy, aren't you selling that bike?

. Yup, but I may end up keeping it and either way, it has to be good!

right after i left section 4 i realized that i hadent taken any pictures so i stoped and took a one looking back up at the section

and one looking out over the canyon

I wound up scoring both days. Not a good way to take pics of my NMTA friends

OJ at a 10,000ft elevation Trial -

And again at the awards ceremony, parked next to the bike that will beat it in next years Twinshock class

Awesome fun Trial, at over 10,000ft. above sea level. OJ, not exactly the horsepower king of Trials bikes, had significantly LESS power than expected at that elevation. Made for a fun weekend, although the hillclimb sections were pretty sketchy. As expected, Lineaway annihilated me all the way down to 14th place (out of the 2 of us in the TwinJunk Class)

I know I was busy scoring. But I saw a grizzley bear riding side saddle talking to miz walker crash on top a 4rt and still wink at morgan. Next thing I see is his cheeks go red in embarrasmenet while his seat is top side down on the Montesa`s seat which is parked on top of this log and all of a sudden 700 lbs of man, beast and machine come tumbling down.

What did you do with your Trials Bike today?...

Went and had a visit with the knee doctor...
Me to Doctor, "When can I ride it again?"
Doc, "Early November if all goes well."

Considering how much that little twist the other day really hurt, I will probably be listening to him.
At least I can go and watch.
