Went out with a buddy yesterday and spent a couple of hours bashing around the neighborhood trails, plus a break for some (planned) trail maintenance. Refilled the Scorpa after our return and found it had used .6 liters of gas on our ride. I checked the bladder in my Platypus pack and found I'd drank well over a liter of water, plus a couple of beers after the ride. So the bike gets better mileage than the rider...

We got some good riding in this morning even though the bloody heat was coming in again.

We were lucky that Andrew Oldar was out this morning. He is a pro class rider from California.

Here, they are discussing whether Nathan should try this or not.

They decided to leave that one alone because of a wierd approach.

Man, these guys can ride some huge stuff!!!

Lots of fun and I had a really good practice today!!

Here is who Andrew Oldar is:

I'll add a few more to Gordy's pics from today. It was awesome watching the kids give it hell today!

Here's a few more of Nathan Hassler practicing on some big granite boulders. These kids are amazing!

I didn't get many shots of Andrew Oldar riding, but here are a few...

Aside from the heat, it was an awesome day to be cruising around on a trials bike!!

I Wear My Sunglasses At Night

Greetings from hell
Well, hot as hell anyway.
Tulsa has been extremely hot this summer, but thanks to one of our generous NEOTT riders, we have a plan...
TRIALS AT NIGHT!
Thus, NEOTT gatherings for NIGHT trials has been officially born and is growing strong.

SUNRISE TRIALS is the name of our heavenly oasis in this burning landscape.
All open events are posted on the NEOTT page if anyone is interested in checking it out.

Did I mention that our host has installed quality outdoor lighting and a sound system that rocks then entire ride?!

Just a couple of days ago, he even secured a snowcone truck with special margarita snowcones!!
Wow that banana margarita snowcone tasted sooo good after a few hours of riding.

More pics as requested.

They worked hard to make sure the lighting did not create more problems with shadows than help with the light. They were successful!
