Sittin' here scratchin' my head...

"...how to ride faster than 30mph...scooter speed." WHICH is it Dave...?

- "how to ride faster than 30mph" OR "how to ride faster than scooter speed"...?

...Don't think I can do BOTH without some guidance! (Know anyone who CAN do BOTH...?)

sorry for the confusion, WFO scooter speed in the Commonwealth is regulated at 30mph, could be higher or lower in Canuckistan or Arizona...not that higher would matter.

70mph...geeeez, i think that's what happens just as you shift into 3rd on the V649.

But I can pick up the XR250 much easier than the V649HP or the Wee.

And mom wold not be happy if he was doing 70 mph in 2nd gear.

Don't care if he is an adult.

sure ya can, but the 250 is just too limiting for the riding i'm doing...i'll stick with a well configured 650, like the V649, for the places i want to go.

sorry, the Wee won't go either...without hurting the poor thing. not a bad motor though, even if it isn't nice and compact like the ptwin.

nothing out there that suits the criteria i've established, and that's why i build things.

you built a bike to satisfy your own criteria, why would there be a problem with someone else doing the same thing?
