Actually, with the reports I'm hearing, my problem is most likely the battery. The one TT light I have is HID, and the ballest for it is a pig.

I do need to do some more research though before I commit. Like add up my loads for the heated socks, etc.

actually, there's a BMW error code just for heated socks. seems particularly troublesome for those F800 models. sooooo, i hate to be the one to break the news to ya, but it ain't the freakin' battery.

I'm surprised some princesses in GSpot haven't posted up about this error code problem. Maybe I'll be able to get the scoop on them.

The lettering looks nice. Your going to confuse all the bystanders at the gas stations.

most likely, but then guys had a hard time identifying those old bikes too. this one is a little tougher with a bigger mix of parts.

working on the front brake caliper bracket, time consuming to get it right with both contact and interference issues. i don't know if modeling software would be any faster that doing it the old fashioned way, but now i've got a prototype, so the final piece is on the horizon after a couple adjustments.

C'mon Dave, front brakes are for chumps, nothing cooler than a beast sliding sideways through a gravel road corner, then coming onto the throttle in a big rooster tail......

Your bike is great and I would like to see a side view picture of you sitting on the bike.
Thanks

Are you planning to make a few more of these, since you have a mold now? I, for one, will pay you for one of those...

only a couple reasons to rig up that front brake...

state inspection, my guy has a good sense of humor, but not good enough to slap a sticker on there absent the brakes, and...

ya just never know when a canuckistanian might drop by and angle for a test ride. everyone knows those guys need brakes in the worst way, otherwise ya end up out in the spruce, eh.

hadn't given any thought to selling them, they're really just for my use. i found it easier to make a mold for these parts rather than just a one off piece. same with my mini fairing mold. if damaged, or i decide i don't like the way i did some final shaping on the piece, i can easily make another.
