I guess its like KR doing those laps in 2009 at the Indy Mile. Once you have it, you never loose it. From the pics those guys are still in great shape.

My Dad used to tell me about watching "Feets" Minert racing back in the 50's. Said he was incredible to watch, along with the Ekins Brothers.

Desert racing is the same. The Senior (40+) class is the largest in D37. And we have guys in their 70's that still race regularly.
