They may still be - the WSBK qualifying format is designed to thin the field as they progress up the board - since Haslam is currently in 6th, he makes the cut to second qualifying, and if he stays where he is at, he will make it to final qualifying (I think the cut progression is 15, 10, 5, but am not sure).

There is a free practice at 7:30 PM east coast (US) time and a second qualifying at 11:30 PM. Superpole is tomorrow.

Thanks for the kind welcome.

I gave up on riding years ago after a trackday crash. Didn't give bikes much thought until just by chance clicked on a link to the ride reports here while browsing another forum. It's inspired me to get back into riding.

Not sure when I'll get another motorcycle to ride but it's nice to read the reports and see so many roadracing fans here.
