i had assumed the rockin' banana was in fact riding some sort of jello-based extra terrestrial lifeform.. of course the whole thing is ridiculous as we all know bananas can't ride bareback..

Stage start list

Just checked todays start list:

Kemil Merkit @ 67
Annie Seel @ 70
Si Pavey @ 87
David Casteau @ 92 (lone serviving Sherco?)
Jose Garcia @ 95
Jorge Gomez @ 96

So, all of the big guns seem to have sorted themselves out into some sort of finishing order (although anything can and probably will happen), these are the people I am loosing sleep over the most. With only a few stages to go, I sincerely hope these guys and gal can park it in the barn in BA.

GO YOU GOOD THINGS!!!

Both are fantastic and superb athletes. Seel has finished all 4 and this is her 5th Dakar, this is Sanz's first Dakar Sanz is the 10 times world trials champion. Sanz has crossed over into Seel's discipline and is doing remarkable. I wonder how Seel would do in Sanz's discipline, she should give it a try, eh?
