I have the same issue on my 08, maybe I got a bad batch of plastic Zip tie works just fine and keeps me out of the dealership

I got ~+5lbs and same height. But I am mostly torso (6ft, 30" inseam). If you are mostly legs, you might have a problem.

I don't know about him, but my legs are too long except for forward controls, and those are not my thing at all. I miss my 1200R, but it was good for 150 miles ~max~ before I'd be cryin.

34 inseam here but I still ride Mid Controls on my Streetbob

I ride a Twin Cam 6 speed, and it cost a fortune for a kicker kit for that, and I really wouldnt do a kicker on a 10k plus bike anyways.

I will build a Sporty Chop one day, but I havent the time or facilities to support such an endeavor. I missed a killer deal on a hardtailed Evo Sporty a few months back. I am sure I could ride a Sporty chop but I am gonna have to get a plus 4 or 6 stretch and up 4 at the neck. I will still ride Mids though, I cant ride the Gynomatic Forwards
