OLDPEG, must stand for...

an old gal named peggy. Come on lighten up a tad, nothing wrong with a little good natured humor. The post didn't say only post pic's that OLDPEGGY liked, it was for everyone to post what THEIR favorite pictures are. I think a worrld according to OLDPEG would be a boring one at that. No need to get our panties in a wad, sit back and enjoy the ride. Life is full of twists and turns, not two sets or railroad tracks leading in a straight line. Deep Breath, exhale, Deep Breath, exhale.....repeat.

I still didn't get the question as to why that PHENOMENAL bit of riding and photography has not been recognized for the front page.

This nice CLEAN reply is for OLDPEG...

The Trans-Australian Railway railway line crosses the Nullarbor Plain from Kalgoorlie to Port Augusta.

The railway line holds the record for the longest straight section of railway in the world (478 km),= 297.01543 miles

Longtallsally,

I don't have an answer for you, but, since you're missing the California desert, here are couple for you:

That's Badwater from Dante's View in Death Valley

This was along 20 Mule Team Road in Death Valley

Hope this helps.

Mike

Thanks! I know both places quite well.

From the last time I was there:

Since we're suffering over here, we might actually make the most of it at some point and ship the pig over to Africa and do some riding.

Mods: I understand foul language is prohibited on this forum, and justly so, but how about foul images? I don't feel too good in such gross company.
Why would you say my photo was ugly it didn't show anything it was all in fun and do you think all of the other photos I posted were ugly I think you need to lighten up and enjoy the ride or get off.

Don't worry, my world is a lot of fun (if you only knew), and I can have my moments as well as the next guy, trust me. Only, in public, I know to refrain myself to make sure I don't risk making my fellow creature uncomfortable. I wouldn't use foul language on purpose on a public forum for that reason, and I would certainly not post a questionable picture for the same reason. But that's how I was raised, and I understand not everybody share the same values. I hope you don't mind my expressing mines. As for the photos in question being funny, again, we obviously don't share the same humour.

BTW, I suppose you play on words on Peg-Peggy goes with the territory of not funny hackneyed jokes. You see its Oldpeg, not OldPeg. Now, look up the word peg somehwere.

And I don't know, but I could have sworn the title of the thread read «Your favorite GS pictures.»
