New( a while back) and mine
 I bought this new and once the vibes stopped after the running in period 15000 km I really like it. Now equipped with my homemade pivoting pegs and adventure cases in aluminium and LEDs on the hand protectors I only miss a a working silencer

My departed 02 1150 GS... never should have sold it...
Colorado Nat Monument...   Right at 28K miles... while doing 70mph leaned over in a corner, BANG!!! Yeah... that will get your attention...   In the back roads of East Texas...  Somewhere West of Telluride. Co., after hitting a bad rut...  Later that day on Scotch Creek Rd heading toward Silverton, Co.  Push Mtn Road in North Central Arkansas, running on TKC 80's  When riding hard and fast, I usually left the Jesse bags at home/hotel. Otherwise the lower outside front corners would drag. They eventually had holes ground through, even when I ran the preload high on the rear. The GS could just lean and lean and lean....  I have a 1200 GS now, but it just doesn't inspire me like the 1150 did... Can't really put my finger on why... Can't believe how bad I miss the 1150. I'm thinking of selling the 1200 and scouting for a clean 02 (pre EVO brakes). |

A few of my new favorites after a 2800 miles 4-day trip down to San Diego and back (from Montana). Just fall more in love with this bike with every passing mile.
Riding across Great Basin National Park   Enjoying "Dispersed Camping" on BLM lands. Apparently most campgrounds in Nevada only take campers and RV's now.
