Pretty accurate. The triple is way smoother and more forgiving. The LC8 engine is amazing in it's own way, but is way noisier and rougher, it reacts/revs faster though. The KTM does have high end suspension all the way around, which is noticeably better than the Tigger.

I'm probably going to set the tiger as a 90/10 (street/dirt) an the KTM as a 40/60 bike.

Hey John! I snapped this pic after I rode the Dempster! I think we later spoke on the streets of Dawson? I only saw yours, and one other Tiger 'up there'.

Yep that was me, and you were so right about the mud! We got stuck up there for a couple of days after the road washed out, but eventually made it back. Only casualty was the brake pads which were non existent when I finished.

I saw one other Tiger apart from you, and that was on the way down to Valdez, a roulette green one in the company of a couple of GS heading up to Tok

Finally have something of substance to add...

Over the weekend we visited Watts Bar Nuclear Power Plant in Spring City, TN. I had never before seen an actual plant and it was impressive as I thought it would be. That's me on the right, Dirty South middle on his 95 and Griz on the Bimmer...yeah...we let him tag along...although I think the Plant turned his jacket yeller.

Never try to ride and snap pics at the same time! Especially on this road! Copper Canyon 2006.

Pic was taken on a gravel road above a coal mine.

Tailing pond above the mine. That's a CAT D6 on the dam.

You appear to be leaking centerstand fluid.
