Thanks for the hand. Grabbed the URL off the pic instead of off the pic.

Still learning, I guess.

'99 Tiger

bringing it home a month ago

FINALLY getting the registration sorted (NH reg and I'm out in CA right now) and doing my first ride a couple days ago.

The first corner that I took on tis long-legged beast made me realize quickly this was no Ducati - BOING BOING BOING.

Speedbumps became ripples though.

What kind of wheels are you running there? '99's came from the factory with wire-spoke wheels.

Those are 17" Dymag's. I have the stock 17 & 19 setup as well, just need another set of disks so I can swap back and forth.

It's not a Ducati...and it's not a KDX! So be careful with the poor thing...

Baxter Cycle in Marne, IA usually has a good collection of used bits. And ebay UK of course. Now get those other rims setup with some Karoo's and teach us all what a little bike guy can do on a Tiger

(other than drop it, of course)

Hi Patrick, right back at ya

Thanks for the tip on the used parts, I'll check them out.

You should see that poor KDX after 3 years of abuse. It's sitting in the corner of a shed back in NH, whimpering and awaiting a full teardown/rebuild.

Some offroading is definitely in this tigers future. I'm going to swap the disks over to the stock wheels next week, bolt on the TB bash plate and oil cooler guard then hit some gravel. Will post pics of the carnage.

Dood, don't use my real name, that's what I'm going to use when I try to sell my Tiger as a 'daily commuter, never seen dirt' creampuff!
