That appears to be either hwy 52 or 136, one of the two. I didn't care for the new tigers when they first come out but after seeing a few in person, they really are a sharp looking bike. I'd probably ride one .

That's Hwy 136. Hwy 52 runs further north past Fort Mountain.

I dig those new Tigers but wish Triumph would move forward with this 'much rumored' 675 offroad version. It's the only bike that could probably end my lust for a 950.

i just know its between Dalton and dawsonville ga..
the triumph demo truck is in town today so I'm going to ride them all. i'll ask a lot of questions about a 675 tiger. i think the only things they have this year is smaller wheels on the retro bikes

Steamer Power!

Here's a few from my solo ride of the AR-OK-NM sections of the TransAmerica Trail a few weeks back. The bike took a beating in many different ways and now has almost 72k on the ODO - I think I'll hang onto it for a while longer...

Oh, some might consider this a ride report, but it's not - just a collection of photos of the Tiger along the Trail (out of 450+ taken) with a short narrative of the scene...

The first Monday on the Trail - the dirt, dust, and excessive vibration caused the control cables (mainly the choke, but the throttle was affected as well) to either freeze or be rough transition. Naturally I discovered this ONLY after I'd loaded the bike and was suited-up ready to leave the campground.

Common enough shot along the Trail in the Arkansas Ozarks.

Another common photo op along the Trail in Arkansas.

Tiger waits patiently on the far bank as I scout a way around a washed out bridge in OK - fortunately my better judgment prevailed and I took asphalt around.

My luck ran out the next afternoon. Being solo, I was unable to pick the bike up in the mud. Farmer came along 30 minutes later and we finally extracted bike.

The aftermath that night at a state park campground - except for a busted RH front turn signal, bike was fine.

Finally made it to the NM border along the Trail.

Trails end - view of the Tiger from inside the historic jail in Branson, CO.

Do you have a 'sho-nuff, dozens of photos, lots of commentary' Ride Report?

If so, be sure to post it on TigerTriple as well.

Thanks.

No, I don't and probably won't this time (I did last year for the TN-MS segments) since a many ADVriders have posted similar reports on this segment in the last month or so - that, and it would take hours to compile one - unfortunately time I don't have now - having trouble finding the time to upload the photos/narrative to SmugMug where at least my family, friends, coworkers can view them...

The Steamer is by far the best looking Tiger produced.
