Finally got a couple pictures of El Tigre on a short ride to Hillsboro NM today. I picked the beast up in Dallas back in October then had back surgery so didn't get to ride it much. I added to topbox and the exttra lights otherwise it came pretty much ready to go adventurin.

Here is my brand new 2005 cat...
I took the sidebags off (figured I'd keep them looking nice until I need em) Put on a Wolfman tail bag.

That must've been a beautiful ride .... I spent a couple of weeks hanging out around Split back in 1990 - and although I didn't have a bike with me at the time, I kept on thinking what a fantastic, spectularly beautiful, curvy, cliffy, ocean view trip it would be. Lucky bugger!

Dropping in...on the pegs...keeping it loose...gotta keep up the speed to make it up the other side...
![]() 1 second later...already chickened out on the whole, 'pegs' thing...feet down, gotta dig it out to get over the top... ![]() 1/2 second later and the backend is starting to slide out...probably a bad idea to have attacked that at an angle, should have hit it straight on...maybe I have enough to make it... ![]() High centered. Game over. I suck. ![]() Little help over here? Please?

It was a hell of a ride, went from Trieste in Italy all the way down the coast to south of Dubrovnik. Superb route all the way. If you go inland 20 miles though, you come across the residue of the Balkan war, villages bombed out and abandoned etc. Went up from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo, then across to Hungary and the Czech Republic. Great, great ride. Hoping to put some pictures on here when I can get round to it. Not a taff though. I'm English but like a lot of us, I have Welsh and Irish blood. I just live in Cardiff for its quality of life and fantastic biking country. Cheers, Dix |
