How does the old Steamer compare to an R100?

(I know how it compares to a couple 1150GSs I've had...but curious as to what you think)

Other than more power, better brakes, better suspension, about 10 more MPG, less vibration and WAYYY better headlights they're about the same

The GS felt lighter, had a little more seat to peg clearance (I'm 6'7"), and better wind protection.

I've only put a few hundred miles on it since Monday, but so far I'm glad I got it. I rode a Girlie a few years back and liked it save for how wide the tank felt. I like the Steamer look much better though.

My coworker came in, saw my bike outside and said "Dude, you sure can pick some ugly motorcycles!" I replied, Dude, you drive a Sable.

More pics of the Steamer next to the Steamer please! (the 2nd steamer being the Badger of course

) My whole family is from Ludington. I need a summer trip up there sometime... I only ever visit at Xmas when there's a blizzard in town.

I didn't even think of that!

I could have sworn I took some pictures of it in the hold, but there weren't any on the camera.

Her jacket worries me some. Maybe it's not in "riding" position yet? Looks like it would slide up and leave some spots skinless in an unfortunate down.

Maybe sew into the sleeve ends some athletic wrist braces that go around the palm and thumb (this idea would be good for any riders jacket now that I think of it.) They can't ride up then. Other than that snug up the waist so it can ride up her torso and deskin that. Jeans arn't bad but you can do better. ATTGAT especially for the kids

I knew I would catch criticism for that. Her "ride" was about 100 yards from the ship to the parking lot, then from that spot to the ship. She has her own PW80 and is fully outfitted for that to include a EVS BJ33 Ballistis Jersey (that we had along), gloves, helmet, goggles and boots.

Regardless, she knew she wasn't getting on the bike with out helmet and gloves, even for that short of a ride.

I was the last one up that evening after the jury-rig of Mustang's Bonnie's clutch cable on my girlie down 2 hours away

the first bike I see is

I lost their name, but they were on a trip with Creative Rider?? and some others, they'd shipped their bikes over from Portugal to ride the NE

He thought it was pretty cool to see a tiger come off the hill last.

I hope they got up the next day
