Beautiful bike. Never cared much for the girlies, but the steamers and the roadies .

Cant wait.....What bags work well with the Steamer......? How about a good light weight exhaust?

Bummah...he and I had spoken frequently years back about Steamers...he was a good source of info for me as I was starting out with mine.

I only knew him from the forums and yahoo groups, but I think you should be pretty happy with that bike - he really seemed to painstakingly care for it.

Congrats!

everything that was once available for steamers is no longer..............

stuff sometimes shows up on ebay but is far and few between.

Hepco Becker is about the only source for racks for the steamers and even they are spotty to find see this thread below
http://tigertriple.com/forum/viewtop...?p=53667#53667

twisted throttle has givi parts so that if yo make your own racks you can add the special givi latches and buttons to use givi luggage
http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade...view/2079/169/

get yourself some steel and a welder and you can have this to use with almost anything you can make a mount for

Brenden has been great at answering my ten million questions. He seems to have a huge knowledge base for the Steamers. I will probably be picking his brain for awhile.

I recognize you from Tiger Tripple.com got the welder, just need to learn bending again. Will anything Tourtech fir the Steamers? Their catologue looks like stuff for Girlies only.

For readers in the UK, http://www.motohaus.com/ are the SWMotech dealers and stock these fitting kits. http://www.motohaus.com/acatalog/Acc..._________.html you need the "security screw set" which is for a pair of panniers.

Not as far as I know but they do sell 18mm tube basic frames. You'd have to make your own brackets and mountings and weld them on.
