Actually he got it from me ......

It's from Germany, and it was made by a friend of Peter? Rielo is his handle, I believe. If you look back in the thread, near the beginning, you'll see posts by him, and in fact his friend's green steamer with the same type of cowl on it ....

Close...Patrick Rielo. He was prielo here...or tigertrieber...can't remember. I think on tigertriple.com he was just Patrick.

If you're going to get one I would suggest having G buy another one...paint it the color of your bike...and sell it to you. It's a lot cheaper.

(thanks G!)

Some photos of a customers bike i built luggage for, he shipped it from Australia to Germany for an extended trip around europe, cool photo with the Switz Army in the background guarding the Tiger, one of there trucks got lost in the fog and went over the edge i think was the story so he had to wait for the road to be reopened. Locky.

A couple questions regarding a 2000 girlie ....

Hey everyone ....

K, so the girlie I'm looking at is in fact a 2000, not a 2001, and I've read some conflicting info, so I thought to post this up and see if I can get a confirm from some peeps.

1. It is the 955i engine, correct?
2. It is fuel injected and not carb'd, correct?

From what I remember the 1999 girlie had the new bod, but still the 885 engine, and I believe it was carb'd still at that point IIRC.

If anyone could chime in it would be mucho appreciated.

Thanks ...

G.

'99 and '00 both had the new bod and were 885i's...carbs ended with the Steamer body in '98. If you get it, do the crankcase breather mod!

You might be right as it does seem that the river in the background is too small to be the Rhine.
