so i read about 100 pages of this forum. but not all 240. I was looking for a corbin seat for my 99 so i went to the corbin website and they had.... 95-98, 2000-2006 and 2007-2010. theres a year missing. and its the 99 with a two part seat. i looked at the 2000 and its a single piece for the seat. anybody know anything about this?

FYI, that paint is expensive. Plan to pay about $130 for a pint of the Base and metallic pearl. You'll still have to play for clear and other materials too.

The 99's and up have a 2 piece seat stock. Corbin uses there own seat pan to create a one piece seat that fits on the 99+ Tigers.

I contacted Corbin once about a '99 seat; they don't make one. The '99 is an oddball year with a different base than the ones preceding or after. They told me they can do one, you just have to send them the old seat and they will build the new seat on your old base. They also said you can make an appointment and have it done the same day if you want to ride in...provided you're in California. My '99 has a Sargent seat, but it's on the original Triumph base too.

Yeah, I figured that. I might just go cheap and get some rattle-can black for now But for what I paid for them, I can afford to throw a couple bucks at them

It's not a bad color, but it would look like with the green.

Some have covered them in truck bed liner with very attractive and durable results.

30 years ago, hardly anybody knew of it

my buddy has a house just past it on the TN side, so I go thru fairly often

but now I'm trapped down here in the HOT, FLAT wastelands of central SC, so it's 5 hours away

how's things up yonder way?

sure would like to be up in the White Mts right now
