Tiger meeting.

Hello fellow Tiger owners.
A meeting of the UK Tiger Clan has been arranged for July 23rd~24th at http://www.thegoldenswan.co.uk/
It'll be a camping weekend with lots of good real ales and a ride out Saturday. I think most will turn up Friday evening and leave Sunday morning.
Please get yourself off to http://tigertriple.com/forum/viewtop...r=asc&start=20 and show your interest.
See you there if not before.
Cheers.
H

Meet Monty, the white tiger

The tank on my '99 had developed some serious bubbles, and I needed to do some fiberglass repair on some other body pieces, so I decided to go for color change. Meet Montecore, aka Monty, the white tiger. Hopefully this one won't drag me around by my neck.

The paint job used nothing but the highest quality Rustoleum that Home Depot had to offer; most of the parts went well, but the tank was really difficult. The bubbling and chipping (and the heavy handed sanding of these areas, I admit) led to some deep divots, and the paint separation caused some chipping. Add to that the fact that the tank is all compound curves without a flat spot anywhere, and the patching was difficult.

After all the effort though, I think it looks really great...in the dark...from 10 feet away.

Hey man thats what being a Tiger owner is all about! Ride it like it was meant to be ridden, then fix'er when she brakes.
