More questions...................How do they clamp onto the tapered part of the bar? And, what, if anything, did you have to do at/in the bar ends?

Cycra racer Pack $99-00 at Cyclegear.com. The Triumph bars are made by Neken, same folks that KTM use. You need to tweak & bend them a little to get to the perfect fit. The Bar ends are already prepped with threaded 4mm insert, I used a spacer to keep the handguard from rubbing on the throttle side. You can use some washers for the spacer.
Knobbies are on order, will have them on by the end of the week, going with TKC 80's. I wanted to run Mitas E10 as I rode 800miles (Yamaha 1200 Tenere)on a set offroad & they were worked well, however the US Mitas dealer does not return emails & I am tired of waiting.

Mitas E09 Dakars I can get ......... E10's ..... I've had zero luck in getting them .....

I think the E10's / Mefo Super Explorer (not just the explorer) would be great 50 / 50 tires ...... With that said, since I haven't found where I can get E10's ......

I run TKC's on my Africa twin.
I run Dunlop 606s on my KTM 640adv
I run Tourances on my Capo.
And right now I have anakees on my 2000 girlie.

When I finally procure an 800xc, I would love to get E10s, but I probably will settle for TKCs ......

I wish Mefo made the Super Explorer in a 150 / 70 / 17

And / or ..... I wish Heidi would get their shit together for front and rear Scouts .... a.k.a. the K60. and get them over here.

With the amount of reading I've done on the Kenda Big Blocks, I'm going to stay away from them .....

Nope...

That was just a short 2-weeker I squeezed out of my overdrawn vacation budget... After 3 years in Germany I needed that fix! Downside is, that the urge to do it again is even stronger now...

Yeah, I know about the Tiger 'hot spot' around ATL...

Sorry, but unfortunately I only 2 days in ATL itself; filled with visits and errands. Not much time to play... Didn't even make it into the N-GA mountains...

I hope next time I have more of it to get up to TWO and the surrounding area to grind off the edges of the tires!
