Of course they do, especially on warm summer days!!!

But of course Even the strongest beast can respect a leisurely ride above the swell at times.

The dealer here in Anchorage said all his Tiger 1200s are spoken for except one and only because the guy backed out. All the rest are presold

That's a Cee Bailey's Tall Windshield. It provides pretty good wind protection. I am 6'2 and went up to 80 miles/hour and no buffeting or wind noise so far.

Factoid alert! In nature the Tiger is the only bigcat that doesn't mind water. They lay in puddles and ponds to keep cool in the heat of the day.

As someone who has both....

That's a difficult question really because over the 10 years I've had my 955 I've sorted the aerodynamics and have yet to sort it on the 800. So......
The 800 is similar to the 955 in its capabilities on the road. Both will take you on tour with ease and comfort. I think the 955 has just a bit more roll on acceleration in top gear from low speed and revs but the 800 is smoother and it has more leg room with the seat in its high position. My 955 gets slightly better mpg than the 800 and so will go another 60 miles or so on a tank full. The 955 gives a plusher ride. Where the 800 wins is it's all round ability bringing in its agility on dirt tracks. You can take the 800 places you wouldn't dream of taking the 955. If dirt tracks are not in your future you have nothing to gain in getting an 800.

Well thanks for the great comparison. I figured (guessed), that it would be like that.

I am seeing a couple small Laminar Lips attached to your windshield. Is that your own design?

On the 955? Yes. My firm belief is that most of the turbulent wind comes around the fairing from that area so I added them to deflect it outwards further. It actually works really well but is better when I have the Palmer medium screen fitted as below......

With that in its most upright position all is peaceful behind.

Looking good, how far off the fairing did you space the wings? Do you have any other pictures from other angles? Joe
