And with out even moving the bike, just a different angle on the bike, you see Mt. Elbert - 14, 433 ft above sea level. The highest peak in Colorado.

Oh, and, me not Stretch. He quit riding after he totaled his bike (and his spine) .

Mudhen was referring to Stretch's post on the previous page. Stretch is "back in the saddle again."

Hey Stretch, been "wheeling" in Colorado lately? You'd like this area.

I'd been looking long enough. But I finally found the one I wanted.

Oddly enough, with all of the stickers that came with it, the previous owner said he was not an inmate here.

It came well equipped-Metal Mule luggage, Givi trunk, Fehling engine guards, Mustang pegs, TOR exhaust (which sounds freaking awesome), brand new Tourances mounted, and a spare set of Shinko 705's!!!

When I bought it, it only had 8660 miles on it and I'm the fourth owner-yes, the fourth owner. Everybody farkeled and I benefitted. For me, this bike is the deal of a lifetime. I've always had at least a small degree of buyer's degree of buyer's remorse with previous purchases. But not with this bike. The almost 500 mile ride home the first day convinced me.

Time to ride.

Sweet. That's what I have in mind. A Moab & Colorado Passes ADV tour is in the planning stages for a few years hence, loading up the bikes on my F-350 Dirt Bike Mothership.

Hi, Mudhen!

I have a Pelican 1460 that I would like to mount to my Explorer and really never done any hard luggage mounting before and not sure what is required. I plan to use the Pelican to carry my SLR so would like a mount that is not easily stolen but has the ability to be removed in a fairly easy manner if that makes any sense..
