Talking Pics. March.

Have been away working for 2 weeks and about to go away again tomorrow. Had the long weekend in Perth but was busy with people most of the time so just a few hrs shed time.

Cathy the wine is good. Thanks
Scray I do care really.
Norwest Hope you make it happen in the next 3 weeks.
Dave. Pics. 1,2,3.
This time I shall submit reply before I log of .

Lower left rear mounting frame. The CJ750 sidecar has the rear mount almost at the back axle of the bike so a frame has to be built where there was none. Centre stand down here.

Centre stand up.

Right side frame attachment point. The threaded rod is 12mm high tensile to clamp to the bike frame and take the stress of the footpeg mounting bolts.

I await the finished product with baited breath.
I have the same bike and have been toying with the idea for a while now. I'm very curious to see how it works.

Bolted Subframes

Bolted the subframe on after work today. Nothing really wanted to fit but with Kalans help we got it together. The chair is in position though not bolted yet. Will get the tracking right and then sleeve the connecting bolts to stop them flexing an stuff. But it may be next weekend before I get another shot at it. As heading down south again soon to work for a few days.

Cheers Bruce

Thumb Bent

Dave what do we tell these other siders??? (NW) The right side is the wrong side and the side that is left is right. I mean how obvious can it be???
Yes that bolt was crooked and will be inside a 25mm bar sleeve when I do it up and set it up properly. We did well after work to get the subframe fitted and at that point the chair was sitting in the holes but far from set up correctly. I still have to reassemble the exhaust and various bike bits then do my 1st sidecar alignment but hey the hard stuff is done now. Oh and it needs to go over the pits to make it legal here after my auto sparky makes the lights to shine and stuff.
Then I have a genuine nutcase theory to explore on how to change the rake using GSXR triple trees. . Secret.
The bike and chair at the moment are only 4 bolts from sidecar to solo (for those who commented about the sidestand being left on) But the Pirelli tyres will just vanish if I leave them on with the chair (to soft) so will need to change to harder compound tyres at least but if I go solo I may have to forget dragging the pegs for a while

Cheers Bruce
