It's about time Frank! Looking forward to the story and pictures. Great to know you got such an expert to draw your routes. I'll be talking some more to you about this...

Great start so far!

This looks really good!

Love the history aspect. Very cool.

Day 1 continued

We mount up and continue up the Medicine Lodge Creek Rd towards the ghost town of Bannock Montana

This was a revisit to Bannock for a few of us. John, Duane and I were here in 06' when we toured Idaho.
The real deal. This town was so lawless in it's heyday life expectency while living here was very short.

The equivalent of a Ford F150 pick-up back in the day...cool bear-claw cloud formation in the sky.

It was getting late in the day and Dillon was not far. So we headed for it. Fuel, food and a motel would be waiting.

After supper Duane finds the Macy's of Dillon Montana and does a little shopping. We loved it. We really did.

Tomorrow we will head up onto the Gravelly Range, a jaw dropping experience not to be missed.

More later.........

I like your way of doing things with the opportunity to feel alone yet riding with others. There are may places in the west as well as other areas where being alone is the only way to really experience it to it's fullest.

The nice thing about winter is people have time to write ride reports about their great adventures during the riding season and I have time to read those reports.

Subscribed and waiting for more.
