Don't get any of that putrid stuff on you, this is good stuff you have acquired. Hate to have you on IR so soon.

Photos are taking too long. Ok, here's the stage 2 Google Earth file:
http://www.HogWildRacing.com/dakar20...ottWhitney.kml

If you don't have Google Earth go to Google Maps and paste that link into the search box, then select "Satellite" view.

Photos from stage 3 are still coming....

And after the 5th pic down in the left column, now I'm hungry.

Thanks Scott, great stuff again.

Two things I noticed.

Picture A1: Racing in the maze will be real interesting!

Picture B1: Their camels have no humps! Do they still smell the same?

Stage 3 Google Earth file. On this one there are a couple of places that my route is pretty questionable, especially in the first 40km. I marked those sections with a different color. But when I tied them all together for this published file, it all went to red, so you can't see where my route could be off a bit. But I'd say 90% of it is dead on accurate. The rest could be a couple of km to one side or the other. The pink section is where the bike route goes a different way than the cars. The section from ASS to the second Moto gas stop is the neutralized, non-timed section.

Awesome, Scott.

What's your reason for posting the GE file before the start of the SS today?

Nobody was expecting it, and it was probably too late for any competitor to really look over closely. Plus I thought it might be interesting for some of you to see while the stage was running.

Each one of these took me at least 12 hours to do. This is the last one I'm doing because I have to go back to work today. I hope at least a few of you got some fun out of it.
